Overview
Conventional eye creams contain many of the following toxic ingredients:
- Parabens. Parabens are a whole family of chemicals (methylparabens, propylparabens, butylparabens, and ethylparabens) that help preserve shelf-life of products.
- Phthalates.
- Fragrance
- Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) and/or Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES)
- BHT
- Retinyl palmitate and Retinol (aka, Vitamin A)
- Lead
- Formaldehyde
The skin around the eyes is more fragile, more prone to dryness, and quicker to show age and fatigue. Squinting and constant movement of the eyes also hasten the appearance of lines and wrinkles, and fluids collect under the eyes and cause puffiness, redness or dark circles. Eye creams can help with these issues. . Coffee infused olive oil forms the base of our eye cream, containing chlorogenic acids which may reduce inflammation and redness.

I love this for my eyebrows as well! This one did get a little liquidy, but that isn’t a problem for me. The caffeine really does seem to help with my eye bags and my dark circles do seem a little lighter. 🙂

I LOVE this eye cream… The first time I used it was in the evening before bed, and I swear it made my eyes feel bright and wide open. My eyes felt so awake, I thought I might have trouble sleeping, but that wasn’t the case. I use it in the morning now instead, all around my eyes, and use the anti aging serum everywhere else and at night.
