Three original, well-crafted and distinctly different songs from a very talented lady. This EP deserves 6 million downloads. Bravo!

Was surprised it had a soul pop feel. Figured she would do traditional.

For some reason, I can’t access/don’t know how to access those files to play the EP. Perhaps I need some further instruction

Big fan of Sinead’s music. These new tracks have a truly original strain running through them because they were entirely composed by her (at least that was my understanding). Especially “Hooks” and “Fly” really came out perfectly rounded and could compete with any independent artist out there. The singing is still the best part though!

This is great independent music! It demonstrates both talent and creativity – stylistically original, interestingly arranged, with great distinctive vocals,

This is Sinead at her best. I love and adore the passion she has for singing. She has quite the range, from ethereal to impassioned.

I appreciate the message(s), but honestly, literal statements in songs are in a category my taste has no right to comment on. This is because I prefer to read direct opinions and statements in written form. I don’t, for instance, have any ‘folk’; particularly U.S., from the ’50s onward. The same for any other protest musics, which, for me all all ‘folk’, of that type.
I belong to the prog-rock / classical /some fusion and early musics categories. Most of what I listen to is instrumental. When vocals are there that have depth of meaning, my favorite examples are those where the meaning is conveyed poetically as opposed to literally.
The older I get the more I agree with a certain English teacher of mine. I recall at the time that I wanted to prove him wrong, just for my own sake. He stated that among the highest forms of art are ‘real music’, meaning classical, and then there’s poetry.
Absolutely everything else was some shade of folk music or print/written expository writing, thesis, discourse, diatribe; whatever.
By his standard just about everything that I enjoy is ‘folk’, whether instrumental, or with pretense and/or half-poetic stumbling in the prog realm.

A genre blender where folk music meets up with trendy hotel and on and on, it sounds indescribable, which is a sign of the ineffable quality of music generally, and Sinead’s in particular.

Very beautiful music I love what Sinead McCarthy produces as well as her radio talk show Firestarter radio and fed up on Renegade broadcasting

I have listened to a lot of Sinead’s parodies she does of mainstream pop songs and those are amazing, so this was a real treat hearing these songs. I have no doubt she could thrive in any music genre she decided to pursue. Fly was one of the better songs I have heard in a while.
